Knights of the Tele-Round Table

I've been reading 'Knights of the Tele-Round Table' by Jaclyn Kostner (1993), and despite having been written a while ago, certainly before Slack (TM) , Zoom (TM) or Teams (TM), it addresses exactly the issues being faced by companies at the moment - how to motivate and manage remote teams.

Clearly this is not a new, issue as the book draws parallels with similar issues having been faced by King Arthur !

It suggests overcoming the challenges remote teams or individuals face of geography, isolation and lack of a shared history by instilling in the team trusting unit, trusting relationships, and a trusting shared future.
